Turner Staffing Group in the Elko, NV area seeks a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to drive end-to-end recruiting for 24/7 industrial/mining operations. You will fill requisitions on time, coordinate interviews, and ensure a safety-first candidate experience across site and remote locations.

You will partner with site HR, operations, and vendors, manage workflows in Workday, and travel to Nevada mine sites as needed. This role offers project-based, impactful work with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years coordinating high-volume recruiting in industrial/mining or similar 24/7 operations.
• Manage 30+ concurrent requisitions while meeting time-to-fill targets.
• Hands-on experience with an enterprise ATS and scheduling tools; comfortable with hourly and salaried pipelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication in a safety-critical environment.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within Nevada.

Job description

This project-based position is working for Turner Staffing Group on a client site in the Elko, NV area. As Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will be the operational engine that fills critical roles on time so our people can keep producing gold at world-class levels.

Performance Objectives

• Fill 90% of open requisitions within agreed time-to-fill targets by coordinating end-to-end recruiting workflows across Elko-based and remote mine sites.
• Source and screen 40+ qualified candidates per month for hourly, technical, and professional roles using our ATS, job boards, and local Nevada networks.
• Schedule and execute 100% of interviews, assessments, and site visits on time, delivering a consistent candidate experience that reflects NGM's safety-first culture.
• Reduce offer-to-start cycle time by 15% through accurate documentation, background checks, and onboarding coordination with HR and operations.
• Maintain 98% data integrity in the ATS so hiring managers and leadership have real-time visibility into pipeline health.
• Support high-volume campaigns (turnarounds, seasonal hiring) that deliver fully staffed crews without compromising safety or compliance standards.

Environment & Resources

You report to the Talent Acquisition Manager and partner daily with site HR, superintendents, and recruiting specialists. You will use Workday (or equivalent ATS), Microsoft 365, and established vendor relationships. Travel to mine sites in Elko County is required; a dedicated recruiting budget and administrative support are provided.

Essential Qualifications

• Preference for 2+ years coordinating high-volume recruiting in industrial, mining, or similar 24/7 operations.
• Ability to manage 30+ concurrent requisitions while hitting time-to-fill and quality-of-hire metrics.
• Hands-on experience with an enterprise ATS and scheduling tools; comfort working with hourly and salaried pipelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication that builds trust with hiring managers and candidates in a safety-critical environment.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within Nevada.
