Job summary

Deswik, a Sandvik Company, is seeking an Account Manager in Denver to oversee and grow the North American regional customer base using your mining engineering or geology background. The role combines account management with software implementations and consulting services, with a hybrid schedule (2 days from home, 3 days in the office) and about 30% travel.

You should have 5+ years in mining, site operations knowledge, and prior sales or stakeholder management experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mining Engineering or Geology.
• 5+ years in the mining industry with technical or operational roles.
• Sales or customer management experience and contract negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, manage accounts, draft proposals, and negotiate contracts
• Build relationships with site teams, general managers, and executives
• Support software implementations and consulting services
• Innovate mining solutions using Deswik technology
• Deliver more value from existing investments and build partnerships
• Manage customer relationships professionally and resolve issues promptly
