Job summary

Saiia Construction, a MasTec company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Mining division in Birmingham, AL. The role requires 7-10+ years of heavy civil/mining PM experience and will be field-based with a 75% travel expectation to project sites.

This position offers a vehicle allowance, per diem for travel, and comprehensive benefits. MasTec’s CE&I segment supports renewables, industrial, and infrastructure projects across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 7-10+ years of project management experience in heavy civil/mining environments.
• Proficiency with MS Office, scheduling software (MS Project/Primavera).
• Experience managing budgets, schedules and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and staffs key field positions with leadership.
• Monitors project performance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Liaises with client, subcontractors and vendors to facilitate construction activities.
