Job summary

Calista Brice Mine Services is seeking a Project Development Manager to support the Donlin Gold Project. You will coordinate preconstruction planning, estimating support, project controls, procurement, and proposal development to promote project readiness and cost/schedule discipline.

This role engages with Donlin Gold, engineering consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to establish operating processes and reporting standards, facilitating long-term growth and successful project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management or related field.
• Ten (10) or more years of progressively responsible experience in heavy civil construction, mining, infrastructure, industrial construction, EPC/EPCM delivery, or related field.
• Experience in at least two of: project development, estimating, project controls, procurement, contract administration, proposal management, or construction operations.
• Experience supporting a large mining, resource development, or remote construction project preferred.
• Experience with major earthworks, civil infrastructure, logistics, workforce planning, or alternative delivery methods preferred.
• Experience working on Alaska projects or in remote project environments preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Manager with planning, coordination, and execution of project initiatives and work packages.
• Coordinate preconstruction activities including scope development, constructability reviews, and scheduling.
• Support development of project execution strategies for major earthworks, infrastructure, and mine-related construction.
• Coordinate transition of estimating/proposal data into project startup and execution.
• Monitor milestones, deliverables, risks, and issues; elevate to the Program Manager.
• Coordinate preparation/review of cost estimates and budgets.
• Assist with quantity takeoffs, pricing reviews, and subcontractor quotations.
• Maintain estimating data, historical costs, labor/equipment rates, and assumptions.
• Coordinate bid documentation, risk identification, and commercial readiness.
• Assist in developing budgets, cash flow projections, and executive summaries.
• Evaluate alternate means/methods to improve cost/schedule/constructability/value.
• Help establish project controls processes for cost, schedule, productivity, and forecasting.
• Prepare and distribute project reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
• Coordinate procurement planning with stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Assist with bids, scopes of work, and procurement schedules.
• Track contract deliverables, insurance, schedule obligations, and commitments.
