Job summary

Komatsu America Corp. is seeking a Manager of Product Management to lead the global haul truck product strategy within Komatsu Mining Technology.

You will guide a team across the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with customer needs, business objectives, and engineering capabilities. The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, decision quality, and a focus on customer outcomes while supporting a broad mining portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business required.
• 10+ years of combined experience in mining, business operations, product management, or engineering.
• Experience working in cross-functional environments with engineering, operations, and commercial teams.
• Ability to lead through influence, build relationships across functions, and operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
• In-depth knowledge of mining operations and equipment, with the ability to identify cost efficiencies and drive growth.
• Physical requirements include mobility to visit locations and operate equipment as described.

Responsibilities

• Execute defined product strategy through the management team across the lifecycle.
• Oversee development, improvements, and field issue resolution to meet customer and business expectations.
• Coordinate activities between Product Management, Engineering, MTS, and regional operations for alignment and accountability.
• Balance technical constraints, cost, performance, and risk in product decisions with engineering SMEs.
