  • Market and Competitive Leadership: Assess market size, segments, competitors, trends, buying criteria, and emerging opportunities to guide strategy and investment.
  • Customer and Regional Leadership: Serve as the product's market-facing leader and build relationships with strategic customers, regional and sales leaders, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Voice of Customer and Region: Translate customer needs, regional priorities, win-loss insights, and adoption data into portfolio decisions.
  • Portfolio Roadmap and Investment Priorities: Own the roadmap and final prioritization decisions, balancing customer value, revenue, differentiation, feasibility, risk, lifecycle health, and capacity.
  • Business Cases and Investment Decisions: Develop investment proposals with clear outcomes, economics, requirements, risks, success measures, and returns. Lead build, buy, partner, or retire recommendations.
  • Pricing and Commercialization: Establish value-based pricing, packaging, licensing, and commercial models that support growth and sustainable portfolio economics.
  • Go-to-Market Leadership: Set launch objectives and strategy with Product Marketing, Sales, regions, Customer Success, and delivery teams, aligning positioning, readiness, enablement, and success measures.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Lead the portfolio from concept through launch, growth, modernization, migration, and end-of-life while protecting customer value and commercial performance.
  • Portfolio Performance Management: Track KPIs for revenue, margin, market share, pipeline, win rate, installed base, adoption, customer outcomes, product performance, launches, and business cases.
  • Product Leadership Team Alignment: Set priorities and decision rights for the product leadership team, resolve tradeoffs, and maintain one integrated portfolio plan.
