A leading mining company is seeking a NGM - New Hire Trainer to facilitate training and maintain compliance with safety regulations in Winnemucca, NV. This role requires strong leadership, a commitment to safety, and effective training techniques. The ideal candidate has five years of experience in the mining or construction industry and possesses an MSHA Instructor Certification. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $315,000 to $330,000 per year, with opportunities for growth in a dynamic team environment.
Five (5) years of experience in mining, construction or heavy equipment industry required.
Thorough knowledge of MSHA, State, OSHA and ATF regulations required.
Proven attention to detail with a high level of accuracy required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Excellent leadership skills and knowledge of influencing others required.
Responsibilities
Facilitate new miner, experienced miner, hazard, site and task specific training courses.
Lead the management of the Learning Management System (LMS).
Maintain training record management in accordance with MSHA and OSHA regulations.
Audit and review training courses, materials, and programs for continuous improvement.
