Job summary

JVMH Infotech is seeking a Mining Mechanical Engineer (mid-senior) with about 7 years of experience in mining or industrial settings. The role focuses on planning power, water, ventilation, compressed air, and drainage systems both above and below ground.

Proficiency with Deswik or Ventsim is preferred, and MSHA regulations knowledge is a plus. Relocation assistance is limited; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in the United States.
• Degree in electrical, civil, or mechanical engineering preferred.
• Experience five to seven years in mining or industrial environment preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan short-, mid-, long-range for power, water, ventilation, and drainage systems.
• Manage high-voltage electrical networks, substations, and backup generators.
• Design underground pumping networks to remove and recycle water.
• Oversee ventilation fans and networks to maintain airflow in working headings.
