Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking a capable Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in a mining environment. You will troubleshoot, test, and document activities to ensure safe, reliable production in a harsh site setting.

Ideal candidates have a Journeyman Electrician credential and MSHA certification, with experience in heavy industry and a strong grasp of AC/DC systems and motor controls. Safety and accurate reporting are essential requirements.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent industrial electrical experience.
• Experience in mining or heavy industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC systems and motor controls.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Willing to pass site training, medical exams, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot faults on mining equipment.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Read schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Test systems with meters and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
• Participate in safety meetings and audits.
• Lockout/tagout and follow safety policies.
• Communicate statuses with teams.
