Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to keep plant equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably in a heavy industrial environment. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on crushers, screens, and conveyor systems; install bearings, belts and rotating equipment; and assist with outages, welding, and maintaining work orders.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
• Background in mining, heavy manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with welding & equipment alignment.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Safety-focused, dependable and able to work independently.
• Technical training/certifications are a plus.
• High School Diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting & repairs.
• Repair/rebuild crushers, screens & conveyor systems.
• Install & align bearings, belts, chains and rotating equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
• Perform basic welding & torch cutting.
• Assist with equipment installation, rigging & plant outages.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
