Job summary

Kinross Gold Corporation is offering a summer Human Resources internship at either the Bald Mountain or Round Mountain mine sites in Nevada. The role provides hands-on exposure to HR operations across recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, and reporting.

Housing is provided for the duration of the internship. The intern will work under HR leadership, collaborating with teams and may support projects across both locations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college/university program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources across multiple disciplines.
• Past work, internship, administrative, or leadership experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support HR across recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and engagement.
• Assist with HR projects, data analysis, reporting, and communications.
• Handle HR records, scheduling, and general department coordination.
• Participate in HR meetings and cross-functional activities at the mines.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
