Job summary

NACCO Natural Resources is seeking skilled heavy equipment operators to join a team-oriented mining operation in a safety-first environment. The role involves operating dozers, excavators, loaders, mining trucks, and scrapers, with emphasis on proper startup, shutdown, and routine maintenance.

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma or GED and preferably two years of experience operating heavy off-road construction equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, relevant experience may be substituted.
• Two years of experience operating heavy off-road construction equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy earth-moving equipment (dozers, excavators, loaders, mining trucks, scrapers).
• Perform startup/shutdown procedures and daily servicing of equipment.
• Operate within design tolerances using instrumentation.
• Follow MSHA and company safety policies and environmental regulations.
• Practice defensive driving and safe operation at all times.
