Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking an intern to support daily aggregate mining and production operations with hands-on field experience. You will assist with safety, environmental, and operational compliance initiatives, and collect and analyze data to support continuous improvement.

The role involves collaboration with plant leadership and cross-functional teams across production and maintenance projects, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

What You'll Be Doing

Work Environment

• Work is performed in both office and outdoor aggregate mining environments.


• Regular exposure to varying weather conditions, moving equipment, and active production areas.


• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in designated work areas.


• Moderate walking, standing, climbing, and lifting may be required throughout the internship.


• Travel between operational areas within the site may be necessary.
