Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America invites motivated undergraduate and junior/senior students to join as an intern in Downingtown, PA. You will assist field and plant teams, support project work, and learn quarry/aggregate operations under experienced engineers and supervisors.

The program offers hourly pay of $23.00–$25.00, Summer PTO Holidays, DEI engagement, and intern events. This role emphasizes safety, collaboration, and hands-on learning in mining engineering or geology.

• Current juniors and seniors pursuing a degree in Mining Engineering or Geology.

Responsibilities

• Put your education into action in the field to support and participate in assigned project work.

• Complete technical projects to understand quarry or aggregate site operations.
• Learn the mission of production, maintenance and quality departments and various roles.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and company policies.

What You'll Be Doing

• Put your education into action in the field to support and participate in assigned project work.
• Support the plant operations in achieving production goals while partnering with experienced engineers, managers, and production employees in different departments.
• Complete technical projects to gain an understanding of the operations of a quarry or aggregate site.
• Learn the mission of the production, maintenance, and quality departments and different job and functions.
• Ensures compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
