Tetra Tech is seeking a Mechanical CAD Designer for our Mining team in Salt Lake City, UT. This role provides design and drafting services for mechanical systems such as piping, material handling, crushing circuits, and HVAC, with required experience in Revit and AutoCAD.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of experience, and the ability to prepare plans, profiles, and detailed drawings.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Drafting/CADD, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design or mining projects.
• Ability to prepare plans, profiles, and detail drawings with AutoCAD.
• Experience with P&ID and PFD diagrams.
• Experience in a consulting environment and Excel for equipment schedules.
• Independent thinker able to take on design assignments with minimal training.

Mansioni

• Operate CAD workstation to support the preparation of designs for mining and material handling projects.
• Prepare mechanical and piping drawings that include equipment, process piping and HVAC drawings.
