Job summary

Applied Intuition in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Scenario Engineer to drive the creation and curation of simulation test scenarios for autonomous vehicle software. You will build, maintain, and extend scenario libraries, collaborating with Product, Engineering and Sales to align with customer needs.

You will define safety and comfort requirements for scenarios, develop data visualizations, and support customers in adapting libraries to their operational design domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience creating and testing scenarios for autonomous vehicles.
• Understanding of safety verification and validation for vehicle software.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication.
• Interest in developing safety arguments for autonomous systems.
• Familiarity with Python scripting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design scenarios across autonomy domains for mining and AVs.
• Define and implement safety and comfort requirements for scenarios.
• Create data visualizations and reports to understand AV performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Sales on core functionality.
