Job summary

SpecialtyCare is expanding and seeks a Minimally Invasive Clinical Specialist I to support laparoscopic and endoscopic teams in the operating room. You will learn hands-on in a multi-stage program, while preparing instruments, troubleshooting equipment and assisting physicians to ensure smooth surgeries.

The role involves on-call hours, weekend coverage, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
CPR certification preferred.
No experience required.
Healthcare experience or training preferred.
Must live within 30 minutes of contracted hospitals.
Ability to work flexible hours and participate in call rotation including weekends/nights/holidays.
Reliable transportation.
Must complete a pre-hire medical aptitude test and training.

Responsibilities

Provide logistical and technical support for laparoscopic and endoscopic surgeries.
Set up, troubleshoot and maintain minimally invasive equipment.
Manage routine procedures including tower functions and pre-operative setup.
Understand video components functionality and troubleshooting principles.
Assist physicians and clinical staff to meet preferences.
Complete all paper and electronic documentation.
Ensure supplies are stocked and available.
Sterilize and decontaminate equipment post-case and prep for next case.
Participate in shadow and tray call coverage.
Learn and adhere to policies and guidelines.
