Job summary

SpecialtyCare is seeking a Minimally Invasive Clinical Specialist I (MIS) to train and support operating room teams in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role involves hands-on setup of laparoscopic and endoscopic equipment, troubleshooting, and assisting physicians while ensuring sterile, ready-to-use instruments.

No direct patient care, but critical to patient safety and OR efficiency. Comprehensive paid training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• No direct patient care experience required.
• Healthcare experience or training preferred.
• Must live within 30 minutes of contracted hospitals.
• Ability to work flexible hours and participate in call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistical and technical support for laparoscopic and endoscopic surgeries.
• Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain all minimally invasive equipment.
• Manage routine tower functions including pre-operative setup.
• Understand video components and troubleshooting principles.
• Assist physicians and clinical staff to meet preferences.
• Complete all paper and electronic documentation forms.
• Ensure supplies are stocked and available as needed.
• Sterilize and decontaminate equipment after each case.
• Participate in shadow and/or tray call coverage assignments.
• Learn and adhere to all policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
