Summa Health in Akron, Ohio, seeks a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) to join its employed physician group. The candidate should have an interest in pelvic medicine and will practice across pelvic health domains including pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, and MIS, with no obstetric duties.

The selected surgeon becomes part of Summa Health Medical Group, a large multi-specialty organization with a broad regional presence, offering an employed position

Qualifications

• Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology is required.
• Completion of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) fellowship is required.
• Unrestricted Ohio medical licensure or willingness to obtain.

Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon

Summa Health is seeking a MIGS Specialist to join our employed physician group. We are currently considering surgical applicants. The surgeon should also have an interest in pelvic medicine. Our practice includes all aspects of pelvic health including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgery. The position does not include obstetrics.

The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of nearly 700 providers employed by the Summa Health System. Summa Health - headquartered in Akron, Ohio - is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state. With 2 hospitals and 20+ health centers, Summa Health provides access to care throughout the region.

Opportunity Highlights

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology

• Completion of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship

• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain

• Active involvement in medical student, resident, and fellow education

• Commitment to evidence-based, standardized care in a patient centered, team-based environment
