Summa Health is seeking a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join our employed physician group in Akron, Ohio. The practice emphasizes all aspects of pelvic health, including fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic pain, and related conditions, with no obstetrics component.

The selected candidate will join Summa Health Medical Group, a large, multi-specialty organization. Influenza vaccination is required for employees, and there are opportunities for academic appointments with Northeast Ohio

Qualifications

• Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Completed Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship.
• Unrestricted Ohio licensure or ability to obtain.
• Active involvement in medical student, resident, and fellow education.
• Commitment to evidence-based, standardized care in a patient-centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Join an employed physician group in MIGS with a focus on pelvic health.
• Provide minimally invasive gynecologic surgical care and related services.
• Participate in academic activities and contribute to education of trainees.

Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon

Summa Health - Akron, Ohio

Summa Health is seeking a MIGS Specialist to join our employed physician group. We are currently considering surgical applicants. The surgeon should also have an interest in pelvic medicine. Our practice includes all aspects of pelvic health including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgery. The position does not include obstetrics.

The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of nearly 700 providers employed by the Summa Health System. Summa Health - headquartered in Akron, Ohio - is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state. With 2 hospitals and 20+ health centers, Summa Health provides access to care throughout the region.

Opportunity Highlights

3 Days in office and looking to build upwards of 2 Days in the OR
