Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio is seeking a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) to join our employed physician group, with a focus on pelvic medicine. The practice covers fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, and minimally invasive surgery while excluding obstetrics.

Qualifications

• Board-certified OB/GYN with MIGS fellowship.
• Unrestricted Ohio licensure or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIGS procedures and pelvic health assessments.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary care across department.
• Engage in education of trainees and participate in departmental activities.
• Rotations include in-office and OR with flexible FTE as described.

Summa Health is seeking a MIGS Specialist to join our employed physician group. We are currently considering surgical applicants. The surgeon should also have an interest in pelvic medicine. Our practice includes all aspects of pelvic health including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgery. The position does not include obstetrics.

The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of nearly 700 providers employed by the Summa Health System. Summa Health - headquartered in Akron, Ohio - is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state. With 2 hospitals and 20+ health centers, Summa Health provides access to care throughout the region.

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology

• Completion of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship
