Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio is seeking a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join our employed physician group. The MIGS specialist will focus on pelvic medicine and minimally invasive procedures, with no obstetrics responsibilities.

The selected surgeon will be part of Summa Health Medical Group, a large multi-specialty system supported by 2 hospitals and 20+ centers, with 24/7 anesthesia, radiology and women's sub-specialty coverage.

Qualifications

• Board-certified OB/GYN with fellowship in MIGS.
• Unrestricted Ohio medical licensure or eligible for licensure.
• Active involvement in medical student, resident, and fellow education.
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered, team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and pelvic medicine.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive pelvic health care.
• Participate in education and training of students and residents.

Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon

Summa Health is seeking a MIGS Specialist to join our employed physician group. We are currently considering surgical applicants. The surgeon should also have an interest in pelvic medicine. Our practice includes all aspects of pelvic health including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgery. The position does not include obstetrics.

The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of nearly 700 providers employed by the Summa Health System. Summa Health - headquartered in Akron, Ohio - is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state. With 2 hospitals and 20+ health centers, Summa Health provides access to care throughout the region.

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology

• Completion of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship

• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain
