Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio, seeks a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join our employed physician group. The MIGS Specialist should also have an interest in pelvic medicine, addressing pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, and related procedures, with no obstetrics.

The selected candidate will join Summa Health Medical Group, a large multi-specialty group with extensive regional coverage and academic ties.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Completion of MIGS Fellowship.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Active involvement in medical student, resident, and fellow education.
• Commitment to evidence-based, standardized care in a patient centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Join employed physician group at Summa Health.
• Provide MIGS care with focus on pelvic health including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, and injections.
• Maintain clinical excellence through evidence-based practice and collaboration with peers across campuses.
• Contribute to education and academic activities aligned with Northeast Ohio Medical University.

Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon

Summa Health is seeking a MIGS Specialist to join our employed physician group. We are currently considering surgical applicants. The surgeon should also have an interest in pelvic medicine. Our practice includes all aspects of pelvic health including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgery. The position does not include obstetrics.

The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of nearly 700 providers employed by the Summa Health System. Summa Health - headquartered in Akron, Ohio - is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state. With 2 hospitals and 20+ health centers, Summa Health provides access to care throughout the region.

Opportunity Highlights
