Job summary

South Suburban Parks and Recreation is seeking a Miniature Golf and Batting Cages Facility Attendant (Part-Time) to provide friendly customer service, handle admissions, reservations, concessions, and keep equipment and facilities clean and safe. The role may require mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

You will greet guests, operate a computerized point-of-sale system, and help enforce facility rules while working with a team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Must have previous customer service experience.
• CPR/AED & First Aid certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Spanish speaking a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide superior customer service.
• Ensure equipment is in proper working order and perform basic maintenance.
• Answer phone calls and take group reservations.
• Collect admissions and sell concessions.
• Clean and maintain the facility and perform course maintenance.
• Enforce facility rules and safety standards; handle shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

The Miniature Golfand Batting CagesFacility Attendant position involves a high degree of public contactand ensures daily operations of the facility. This position isresponsible for providing superior customer service by greetingcustomers, ensuring the equipment is in proper working order,answering phone calls, taking group reservations, collectingadmissions, selling concessions, cleaning and course maintenance work.In addition, this position will ensure that facility rules and safetystandards are followed. The job may require shifts ranging frommorning to evening hours, weekends and holidays.

• Is highly motivated and has the ability to take direction well.
• Has knowledge of modern office procedures, methods and generaloffice equipment including: computer, cash register, credit cardmachine, copier, fax, telephone, etc.
• Must have the ability to accurately operate a computerizedpoint-of-sale operating system.
• Will provide superior customer service and successfully interactwith coworkers, customers and supervisors while managing multiplecustomers and events.
• Will provide superior customer service and have the ability tohandle customer complaints in a professional manner.

Minimum Qualifications
