Job summary

Cherokee Brick & Tile Company is seeking a Mine Truck Driver to safely operate tractor-trailer trucks and, if needed, water trucks for dust control. You will transport clay, shale, and other raw materials from mine stockpiles to designated processing areas while maintaining regulatory compliance and a clean, organized work area.

The role requires pre-operational inspections, routine maintenance, and close coordination with mine personnel to ensure continuous production and material flow.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Experience operating tractor-trailer or similar trucks preferred.
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Strong attention to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer trucks to transport raw materials between stockpiles and processing areas.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
• Adhere to MSHA, safety, and environmental policies; report hazards.
