Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking a Haul Truck Driver to safely move materials around the mining site. You will operate articulated haul trucks, follow safety protocols, and coordinate with operators and supervisors.

The role requires experience in mining or heavy equipment, ability to work outdoors, and teamwork. MSHA certificate is preferred, and a commitment to staying safe and performing pre-shift inspections.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating haul trucks in mining or heavy equipment environments.
• MSHA certificate preferred.
• Knowledge of safe haul truck operation practices.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safe Operation of Haul Trucks: Operate haul trucks to transport materials within the mining site. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Material Transportation: Load, transport, and unload materials according to project specifications and production schedules.
• Communicate effectively with equipment operators and supervisors to coordinate material movement.
• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct pre-shift inspections on haul trucks and report any issues to the maintenance team. Ensure routine maintenance tasks are performed to keep equipment in optimal condition.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of material transported, distances covered, and fuel consumption. Report any incidents or accidents promptly.
