Job summary

Purcell Tire Company’s Global Mining Group is seeking an OTR Service Tech to service tires at mine sites in Western Nevada. You will dismount/mount tires, repair, and maintain equipment while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires a valid driver's license, clean MVR, and prior OTR tire experience. MSHA and TIA certification are preferred; training is provided. We offer paid training, rotating shifts, bonuses, and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• OTR tire experience required.
• Valid driver's license and a 3-year clean MVR.
• MSHA and TIA certification preferred.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects in field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Dismount and mount OTR tires on sites using proper tools and safe procedures.
• Disassemble and reassemble tires onto wheels ensuring correct size and ply.
• Repair tires as needed; replace valve stems and remove puncturing objects.
• Operate hydraulic boom arm and keep service truck and tools clean and maintained.
• Capture and track site data, maintain safety standards and work area cleanliness.

Skills

3-year MVR with no DUIs

2-3 years experience preferred

What You Need:

• Valid driver’s license
• 3-yr Clean MVR with No DUIs
• OTR tire experience required
• 2-3 years previous experience preferred
• MSHA & TIA Certified preferred
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background & drug screen
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull heavy objects
• Ability to work in a crouched or standing position for extended periods
