Placements24 in George is seeking a skilled Mine Surveyor to join their hybrid team. The role covers underground and surface surveys, producing precise spatial data for planning, development, and production, with field and office work.

You will use total stations, GPS, laser scanners, and CAD software, collaborate with mine engineers and geologists, and ensure safety and quality standards are met in a demanding mining environment.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Degree in Mine Surveying or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mine Surveyor in hard-rock mining preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Deswik or similar surveying software.
• Experience with geodetic control, underground traversing, and photogrammetry.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong spatial reasoning abilities.

Responsibilities
