Job summary

Empire Southwest seeks shop and field technicians with experience in heavy equipment dealerships to join our 3rd‑generation, family‑owned organization. You will repair Caterpillar and allied machines, troubleshoot, and prepare equipment for delivery, in a 7 on/7 off schedule at Turquoise Ridge Mine Site.

Requirements include English proficiency, a valid CDL, safety focus, and the ability to complete a skills assessment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and current driver license.
• Must have English communication, safety-first mindset, and ability to pass a skills assessment (eTRAIN).
• Minimum 6 months related experience; CDL may be required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components.
• Prepare service reports and manage repair costs.
• Travel to remote locations as needed and work overtime when required.
• Communicate clearly with clients and management about equipment conditions.
