Iron Cumberland LLC is seeking a dedicated individual to manage the hourly workforce on the Continuous Miner Sections efficiently while ensuring compliance with all regulations. The successful candidate will develop crews to meet company standards in ventilation, roof control, and safety protocols.

The role requires a PA State Assistant Mine Foreman Certification, along with strong management and communication skills. Benefits include employer-paid medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must have PA State Assistant Mine Foreman Certification or PA State Mine Foreman Certification.
• Ability to communicate, manage, motivate, and train.
• Must have working knowledge of Federal and State Laws, UMWA Contract and Company Policies.
• Must be able to read, understand, and use engineering maps, drawings, and plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage the hourly workforce on the Continuous Miner Sections to meet budgeted goals.
• Ensure compliance with State and Federal laws and Company policies.
• Develop crews to achieve company standards and goals.
• Provide verbal and written communication with workforce and supervisors.
• Complete daily production and work accomplished reports.
• Coordinate shift responsibilities prior to shift start.
• Ensure accurate daily payment of employees.
• Comply with all safety program elements.
