Qualifications

• Must have PA State Assistant Mine Foreman Certification or PA State Mine Foreman Certification.
• Ability to communicate, manage, motivate, and train.
• Must have working knowledge of Federal and State Laws, UMWA Contract and Company Policies.
• Must be able to read, understand, and use engineering maps, drawings, and plans.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with State and Federal laws and Company policies.
• Ensure safe work performance of assigned workforce.
• Develop crews to achieve company standards and goals.
• Provide detailed verbal and written communication.
• Complete accurate daily production and work reports.
• Plan and coordinate shift responsibilities prior to shift start.
• Manage daily payment of all employees under your charge.
• Comply with all assigned safety program elements.
