Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mine inspections and accident investigations with recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain a dust sampling and noise level data record and report findings.
• Remain current on safety codes, laws and MSHA regulations.
• Provide first aid and assist during on-call periods for injured personnel.
• Calibrate safety testing instruments and maintain related records.
• Lead hazard training for visitors, contractors, and company personnel.
