Iron Senergy is hiring a Safety Tech for its Waynesburg, PA operation. The role supports the respirable dust sampling program and MSHA compliance across a 3 shifts/day, 7 days/week continuous mining operation.

You will work with management and safety staff to collect samples, operate PDM and gravimetric pumps, and train miners on dust control and PPE. A BS degree and relevant certifications are preferred; experience required.

Competenze

• Thorough understanding of the principles of safety and regulations as they apply to mining.
• Minimum 4 years mining experience.
• BS degree preferred and related certifications.
• PDM certification or ability to obtain.
• MSHA instructor card (limited/unlimited) or ability to obtain.
• PA Assistant Mine Foreman or PA Mine Foreman certification or ability to obtain within six months.

Mansioni

• Facilitates the respirable dust sampling program and health programs per MSHA regulations.
• Collaborates with operations and safety staff to collect samples and ensure compliance.
• Maintains respirable dust sampling instruments and submits required samples.
• Provides training on Mine Ventilation plan dust requirements and PPE.
• Monitors dust records and stays current with MSHA rules and regulations.
