Job summary

Capstone Copper is seeking a Mine Production Superintendent to lead open pit mining operations and integrated planning. You will drive production scheduling, budgeting and data-driven decisions to maximize value at the lowest sustainable cost.

The role requires coordinating across MOS and mine-to-mill systems, delivering robust information for production decisions, and advancing a 5-year planning horizon. Field time and office work balance are expected in this critical leadership position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in open pit mining and integrated planning.
• Experience with SAP or similar procurement systems.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and provide data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mine production planning and ensure value maximization.
• Oversee budgeting process and interact with finance and commercial teams.
• Drive integration of mine to mill data and MOS systems.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure compliance with the production plan.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to implement 5-year planning milestones.
