Job summary

Ledcor is seeking a Superintendent for its Mining team to provide frontline leadership across large-scale mining and earthworks operations. You will supervise crews, coordinate daily production plans, monitor output, and ensure alignment with mine plans, procedures, schedules, and cost objectives.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of supervisory mining operations experience.
• Experience in managing production schedules and adapting plans.
• Strong problem-solving skills for safe, practical solutions.
• Effective communication with operators, engineers, and leadership.
• Willingness to travel and stay on site for mine projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mining and earthworks operations following mine plans and safety standards.
• Maintain high-quality performance while optimizing equipment, labor, and materials.
• Enforce site safety protocols meeting corporate, client, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and adjust production schedules to meet targets.
• Review invoices from suppliers and subcontractors for accuracy.
• Hire, develop, and manage hourly miners in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Prepare and process production changes with client representatives as needed.
• Lead planning meetings to ensure equipment readiness and operational continuity.
