Job summary

Michigan Paving and Materials Company is seeking an Operations & Mine Planning Manager to support Area Managers, Plant Superintendents, and aggregate operations across an assigned geographic area. The role combines field operational support with mine planning, permitting, regulatory compliance, property and reserve planning, and long-range operational development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mining engineering, geology, civil engineering, construction management, environmental science, or related field preferred.
Experience in aggregate operations, surface mining, mine planning, permitting, environmental compliance, engineering, geology, or related field.
Working knowledge of aggregate production processes, mobile equipment, material movement, and site development.
Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary projects with field operations, consultants, and regulatory stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and support short-term and long-range mine plans for assigned locations.
Translate reserve information into practical annual operating plans.
Coordinate with engineering, environmental, and regulatory teams to ensure compliant operations.
