Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. is seeking a Mine Operations Supervisor for Cripple Creek & Victor in Colorado. This in-person role leads up to ~40 operators, sets daily priorities, and ensures safe production on a rotating schedule.

Requires 3+ years in open pit mining with supervisory experience, strong safety focus, and excellent communication. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $110,000 with competitive benefits and an emphasis on safety and environmental performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mine operations experience in open pit settings.
• Previous supervisory or lead role experience is required.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and leadership for mining activities on shift.
• Maintain safety culture, conduct safety meetings and inspections.
• Communicate daily objectives and priorities to operators.
• Monitor mine plan adherence and coordinate with other departments.
• Develop training, perform evaluations, and support cost-efficient practices.
