Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. seeks a Metallurgical & Process Engineering Superintendent for the Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine. You will lead metallurgy, process engineering, and lab functions, driving safe, reliable production while complying with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Mine teams to improve metallurgical recovery, plant performance, and cost efficiency, leading continuous improvement and capital projects at site.

Qualifications

• Strong metallurgical and process engineering expertise, including heap leach operations and ADR processes.
• Proficiency in QA/QC, laboratory operations, and process control systems.
• Experience with root cause analysis, statistical process control, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Direct the metallurgy team to meet daily/weekly production targets and KPIs.
• Oversee plant performance, identify bottlenecks, and coordinate with operations to implement strategies.
• Lead multiple projects to improve metallurgical performance, including upgrades and modifications.
