Job summary

The Mine Manager at Energy Jobline ZR will oversee safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant mining operations in Sparks, NV. You will manage mine planning, drilling, blasting, loading, hauling, and equipment maintenance while ensuring production targets and cost control.

This role requires strong leadership, MSHA regulatory knowledge, budgeting responsibility, and close collaboration with geology, engineering, and plant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years mining experience with 5+ years in supervision.
• Experience in surface mining operations.
• Strong knowledge of drilling, blasting, loading, hauling, and crushing.
• Proficiency with MSHA regulations and environmental compliance.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all mining activities to meet production targets.
• Develop and execute short-term and long-term mine plans.
• Coordinate drilling, blasting, excavation, hauling, and stockpile management.
• Monitor production rates and adjust operations to meet KPIs and objectives.
• Ensure environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and manage the annual mine operating budget.
• Lead safety initiatives and staff training.
