Job summary

P&C Recruiting | H.R. is seeking a Mine Engineer to provide technical leadership across mine planning, contractor management, and field execution.

The role combines planning, safety oversight, and cost-focused operations in field and office environments with exposure to active mining and construction operations. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of mining experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, and proficiency with Vulcan or similar planning tools, plus strong analytical skills to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
2+ years of mining experience.
Proficiency in mine planning software (Vulcan preferred).
Experience working with contractors and earthworks operations.
Mineral sands experience desirable.
Strong technical and analytical capability.

Responsibilities

Promote strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company standards.
Execute mining plans based on modeling and sequencing using Maptek Vulcan.
Develop and execute near-term mine plans and production schedules.
Monitor daily contractor and mining crew performance; manage costs and productivity.
Supervise tailings and earthworks construction activities; ensure design and quality compliance.
Track costs against budget and produce regular operational and cost reports.
