• Degree in Mining Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive management in large-scale mining.
• Proven track record in complex mining operations and targets.

• Strong leadership, communication and budgeting skills.
• Experience in financial management, budgeting and cost control.
• Stakeholder relationship management experience.
• Professional registration (e.g., Pr.Eng, Mine Manager's Certificate) essential.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Willingness to reside near Queenstown, ZA and work extended hours as needed.

The Mine Manager will lead all aspects of mine operations, including planning, production, health and safety, environmental compliance, and community relations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive leadership experience in large-scale mining operations, a deep understanding of operational excellence, and a strong commitment to safety culture. • Ensure effective asset management and maintenance strategies are in place for mining equipment and infrastructure.


• Represent the mine in senior management meetings and provide strategic input.

Requirements

• Degree in Mining Engineering or a related technical discipline.


• A minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience in large-scale open-pit or underground mining operations.


• Proven track record of successfully managing complex mining operations and achieving targets.


• In-depth knowledge of mining methods, equipment, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.


• Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.


• Experience in financial management, budgeting, and cost control.


• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.


• Professional registration (e.g., Pr.Eng, Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency) is essential.
