Job summary

Origin Mining Company in Kingman, Arizona, seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance across mobile equipment, fixed plant, and electrical/instrumentation systems. You will ensure safe execution, optimize equipment availability, planning, and cost control, and support the concentrator restart for commissioning and sustained operation.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
10+ years progressive maintenance experience in mining or heavy industrial operations with leadership of maintenance teams.
Experience with mobile mining equipment and fixed processing plant maintenance.
Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, maintenance planning, and reliability practices.
Ability to interpret equipment manuals, drawings, and schematics to guide troubleshooting and repair.
Experience managing budgets, contractors, and equipment rebuilds.
Clear communication, sound judgment under pressure, and a commitment to safe work.
Experience supporting copper concentrator, plant commissioning or restart in a mine setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop maintenance personnel across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and planning teams.
Set priorities with operations balancing production, equipment condition, and safety.
Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for mobile equipment, processing circuits, SX/EW facilities, and infrastructure.
Develop planning and scheduling practices including work orders, shutdowns, parts readiness, and backlog.
Track availability, reliability, costs, and failures; drive root cause investigations and corrective actions.
Support installation, commissioning, and startup of restarted concentrator.
Develop budgets, staffing plans, contractor scopes, and spare parts strategies.
Manage vendors and repair contractors; monitor rebuild quality and performance.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements; lead incident reviews.
