Job summary

Mariana Minerals in Moab, Utah, seeks a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of technicians and ensure safety, reliability, and availability of our mobile mining fleet. The role blends hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance planning, and field leadership.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in mining maintenance, strong technical credibility across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and experience with CAT equipment. Relocation housing options available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mining maintenance experience with heavy equipment.
• Supervisory or crew-leadership experience.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics; welding a plus.
• Experience with CAT mobile mining equipment and CAT ET/SIS.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with maintenance tracking systems and MS Office.
• Experience with autonomous mining technology is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians with safety-first mentality.
• Conduct safety meetings and workplace inspections.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Plan daily maintenance activities based on safety and production needs.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting using schematics and manuals.
• Drive reliability through preventative maintenance and downtime reduction.
• Coordinate with planners, operations, and vendors for repairs.
• Train technicians and provide on-call field leadership.
