Turner Staffing Group seeks an Instrumentation & Automation Technician to support a 30-week mine restart near Clayton, Idaho. Travel to site required for the duration. The role covers instrumentation, controls, and electrical maintenance for the mill, under site leadership in a heavy industrial environment.

Journeyperson technicians or qualified third-year apprentices are encouraged to apply. Safety-focused and mechanically inclined candidates who can read drawings and work as part of a team

Qualifications

• Journeyperson instrumentation/automation technician preferred.
• Third-year instrumentation or electrical apprentices considered.
• Experience with industrial instrumentation, controls, sensors, or automation systems.
• Mining or heavy industrial experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Replace apron feeder controllers.
• Troubleshoot and repair belt speed sensors.
• Remove loose, abandoned, or hanging cables from mill areas.
• Support installation and connection of flowmeters, probes, and other mill sensors.
• Assist with instrumentation, automation, and controls work under site guidance.
• Inspect work areas and equipment before tasks.
• Follow site procedures, electrical standards, and lockout/tagout requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Communicate work status and safety hazards to supervision.
• Perform additional project-related duties as assigned.
