Job summary

Energy Fuels Resources Inc. seeks a Mine Geologist to support surface and underground operations with grade control, mapping, sampling, and data interpretation. The role involves coordinating with mining and exploration teams to optimize resource extraction while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The position is based in Arizona with relocation to the Flagstaff/Williams area; temporary housing can be provided. A strong background in geology, modeling, and reporting is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology or a related field.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience in a mining environment, preferably Uranium/Rare Earths mining.
• Strong understanding of geological principles and the ability to apply them in a mining context.
• Proficient in geological mapping techniques and interpretation of geological data.
• Experience in resource estimation, geological modeling, and reporting.
• Familiarity with mine planning and operational processes.
• Knowledge of geotechnical aspects related to underground and surface mining.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using geological software and databases.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Confirm ore headings are mined above cutoff grades and maintain average mine grades.
• Provide up-to-date maps for miners showing best production areas.
• Ensure Geiger counters are used and maintained.
• Assist in blast planning by managing ring drilling and sublevel stoping.
• Install laser-based guidance for development and periodically verify.
• Import data into 3D modeling software and provide maps.
