Qualifications

• OSHA/MSHA regulatory requirements
• 1-3 years’ experience in mining/heavy industry preferred
• Working knowledge of safety systems and processes
• Attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Exemplary attendance and safety record
• Willingness to be flexible on daily duties
• Willingness to pass Turner equipment qualifications on each listed piece

Responsibilities

• Maintain high level of safety and production through hazard identification and control
• Engage with crews and leadership to define efficient processes
• Assist with MSHA regulatory task training and compliance checks
• Support training proficiency audits and site improvements
• Travel on short notice to support timelines and production requirements
• Communicate clearly with leadership and site personnel about successes and challenges
• Maintain excellent housekeeping of equipment and work areas
