Qualifications

• Mine Engineering or Geology major with college junior status.
• Desired GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Excellent computer skills and proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strict adherence to safety policies and learn MSHA/OSHA/DOT rules.
• Collaborate with Operations to review mine planning and geological analysis.
• Assist in short/long term mine planning and inventory management.
• Assist Drone Operator for mapping and stripping calculations.
• Spend time in field operations with crews to learn planning and operational objectives.
• Shadow operations personnel and learn blasting operations.
• Quality Control/Quality Assurance activities.
