Job summary

Appalachian Aggregates, LLC, a CRH Company, is offering an Aggregate Mine Engineering Intern position to gain exposure across mining and related lines of business. You will collaborate with staff, assist with field calculations and cost yields, and participate in budgeting, production planning, and inventory control.

Eligibility requires pursuing a mine engineering degree and proficiency with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a mine engineering degree.
• Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Willing to travel and work nights/weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with solving common issues with staff and operations.
• Support monthly projections with Operations Manager/accounting.
• Learn administrative and field processes through hands-on tasks.
• Contribute to budgeting, production planning and inventory learning.
• Assist with field calculations, fuel tracking, and equipment readings.
• Shadow operations to learn planning and aggregate objectives.
