Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in hydrology or mechanical engineering preferred.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Previous mine dewatering experience desired.
• Proficient PC skills including word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Line out crews to achieve production goals.
• Develop and maintain mine dewatering programs.
• Coordinate maintenance of dewatering infrastructure (wells, pumping stations, piping).
• Conduct performance evaluations and carry out disciplinary actions as needed.
• Investigate accidents, injuries, and equipment damage; recommend prevention strategies.
• Coordinate with mine planning to schedule projects; assist with equipment specs.
• Coordinate with mine and mill departments on production goals and priorities.
• Ensure availability of parts and tools; interface with equipment manufacturers.
