Job summary

Owen Health Care seeks a Mindfulness Coach to deliver nonclinical mindfulness and mental-performance coaching for Airmen in demanding environments. The role emphasizes nonclinical scope, cognitive readiness, and collaboration with military teams, with onsite duties at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology or Counseling as specified in the solicitation.
• Active NCC credential through NBCC; must be active/current.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant counseling, mindfulness, mental performance, resilience, or related experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required; background screening and installation access.
• Nonclinical mindfulness and performance coaching scope; know when to refer beyond scope.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver mindfulness and mental-performance education tailored to mission requirements.
• Teach techniques to improve attention, emotional regulation, stress management, and performance readiness.
• Coach Airmen on cognitive resilience and decision-making under stress.
• Lead group workshops and individual coaching within the approved nonclinical scope.
• Coordinate with squadron personnel to schedule trainings and integrate mind-body approaches.
